a little play mixed in never hurt...

Me on the red carpet for the Stop Staring fashion show at the Vibiana in downtown LA. The show was gorgeous. Designer Alicia Estrada continues to impress.

Sean and the Vera Mesmer gang discussing evil musical plans before the Stop Staring show...

What you need to know about February 17th at the Viper Room...

it is:

- A Benefit For Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

- Juliette's Birthday show!

- Brent Mendoza's Birthday (if you don't know him, trust us, he's awesome…he has the same birthday as J so he's must be!)

- We'll be playing the Underworld version of Liar… "Liar - Revenant Mix" LIVE

- Lucid Absinthe will be in the house mixing drinks and giving samples of some dreamy absinthe…

…and it's the middle of Mardi Gras season so babies, Juliette have beads (what you gotta show her for them will decided on an individual basis…)

So darlings, laissez les bon temps rouler!

Last night

We took a break from the getting-ready-for-the-cd-release-show grind, to go to down and watch Billy and the boys of Ashes Divide. Ok, Sean did more than watch... he mixed Ashes Divide and generally worked his butt off... mainly because he just can't help it.

So, there's me, sipping tequila and watching Sean get to all to go... felt like rock-n-roll.

Awesome. :)

Today, back to getting ready for the show and back into the studio... working on the next ep. Maybe we'll give a preview at the Viper Room...

Melting, melting!

OK. I give. It's hot.

I am the sort who very much prefers hot weather to cold...but, ok, it's hot.

(you know, that cold weather kills more people annually than heat...and not just a little more, try SEVEN times more people...that's all I'm gonna say about it. You can look it up though...or email me, I send you a link....if you're into geeky science articles.)

BUT I DIGRESS...my original point was... our air went out and, in a studio, that is very, very bad. So, the day has consisted of us melting into a puddle on the floor waiting for the electrician. Thankfully, that oh-so-wondrous master of electron flow has and been and left... so equilibrium is returning. Solid human forms are emerging once again.

I'll be sending out an update later this week...so check your inboxes. I will copy it to our blogs as well, but mailing list gets things first.

Love,
Juliette
